Message First of all, I'm not harassing Ash for his R&D efforts, I'm appalled that he releases products without a significant R&D effort. The electric fans and shrouds were a complete and utter failure, and if he had conducted actual testing and put the results together he would have seen that the product simply does not cool very well.

If he had conducted a fully engineered solution from start to finish, that never would have happened. Instead he released a product that was not properly tested and now most everyone who used the product has switched back to stock. He develops products to make money, that's how businesses work. Your implication that it's a philanthropic effort is disingenuous.

It's obvious I don't develop and sell products, but to say I've made no significant contribution to the community at large is simply untrue. I typically don't validate the "you've done nothing for the community" barbs you fellows tend to toss at me, but I'll humor you this time =). I've spent a significant amount of time supporting TTNet via a fundraiser, making hardware suggestions, researching and tweaking a Wiki and other sundry efforts that I will not delve into. Not all of my efforts have come to fruition, but some have - and 100% of the effort has been a voluntary donation of time and effort. Suffice to say, I've spent many hours in an effort to improve some facet of the community without any promise of personal financial gain. Can Ash say that? Can you?

Recursively Yours,
Kenny...
